    I ordered this replacement part because the original unscrewed and fell off. If I remember back, I think I was playing around a lot with the focus and then the next time I used it the eye piece was gone. Anyway, I ordered this a few days back and it arrived in pristine condition. Its back on my VPRO500 and things are back to normal.

    I believe the original eye cup was defective. It would fall off because of a loose fit. The new replacement “snapped on”. It appears secure, as it should be.

    I ordered the eyecup and ring late Monday night, Jan 13th. It shipped on Tuesday Jan 14th. Wednesday morning I checked the tracking, it said the product would arrive Friday the 17th, before 8:00PM. I got home home playing golf today, and the package was here. I received it on Thursday, the 16th. Excellent service. $7.00 total, no shipping charge. Wish every company operated like this.

If you ship to Canada, are there duty fees I would have to pay to purchase the eyecup?

Hi Dale,

The item will be shipped via USPS First Class mail. There will be no US sales tax that will be applied to your purchase if it will be ship to Canada. There may be duties and taxes that can be imposed by Canadian customs. You may reach out to them directly regarding the fees.

I had an eye piece on this unit that kept falling off and eventually I lost it. If I buy a new eyepiece, how do I secure it so it doesn’t keep falling off and eventually lose it again?

Depending on your rangefinder, it may work. To verify, please send some photos of your rangefinder on a different angle showing the missing eyepiece to our support team by sending an email to us@tectectec.com so we can assist you further.
